Underneath a social media heading ‘We’re Again!’, shirtmaker and menswear retailer TM Lewin introduced its return to bodily retail after an absence of 5 years.
The retailer has opened a flagship retailer on Bow Lane within the Metropolis of London, the world the place it excelled pre-pandemic with its supply interesting to the world’s company/finance employees.
The model took to Instagram to say: “We cannot wait to welcome you to our first retail store after a challenging five years. We believe the saying goes ‘nothing that comes easy is worth having’ so here’s to that. Thank you for your patience, loyalty and kindness throughout, and roll the next chapter. The best is yet to come…”
The upbeat message comes after that “challenging” half-decade that had seen the retailer enter administration twice after struggling to make a optimistic return post-pandemic.
In 2020 the enterprise was purchased by SCP Non-public Fairness, leading to it chopping 600 workers and shutting 66 UK shops.
The retailer collapsed into administration for the second time in 2022 and was adopted by a rescue deal that April when it was bought to TM Lewin Shirtmaker Restricted, an organization owned by its major lender Petra Group, to develop into a purely digital retailer.
In February, it was introduced that following the second administration, the then-failed enterprise noticed its debt load rise to nearly £10 million whereas owing unsecured collectors over £30 million.
